Who We Are

First and foremost, we are servants of Jesus Christ.  We love God, we love people and we love God's Word!  Our desire is to "lift people out of the ocean of despair and into God's river of life."

We place great importance on the Bible, believing it is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for all that we believe.  As a Pentecostal church, we believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is still at work today, changing lives, setting people free, healing broken bodies and hearts, performing God-sized miracles, and empowering believers to be His witnesses in the world!

We invite you to come, just as you are, and experience:

* passionate PRAISE and WORSHIP

* powerful times of PRAYER because we believe things change when we pray

* inspired and anointed Bible PREACHING

* and the PRESENCE of God that will make a difference in your life!

Our services are full of joy and hope!   If you are searching for the answers to life; if you're hungry for more of God; or if you're looking for a church to call 'home,' we welcome you at the River of Life!

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."                    -  Matthew 18:20

our core values

  • It's all about him!                                   everything we do should originate from a heart of love for him!                                                           Mark 12:30 tells us -  'and you shall Love the lord your god with all your heart,  with all your soul,  with all your mind, and with all your strength. this is the first commandment.'                                            He is to be our first love, and occupy  the first place in our heart.  all that we do - our praise and worship, our prayers, our service and ministry,  our witness, should flow from a heart that is full of love for him!  nothing we do should just be done out of a sense of duty or habit,  but because he is everything to us!  it is  all about him!
  • it's all about them!                                           he has called us to make a difference in the lives of people!                                         As we love him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength,  a love for others will grow in our heart.                                     mark 12:31, 'and the second, like it, is this, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. there is no other commandment greater than these.'                                                          When our hearts are focused on him, he will draw our focus to the needs of others.  we will reach out with compassion to the hurting, the broken, the lonely, the sick, the sinner and point them to jesus,  the savior, and the  answer to every need!
